Cook the minced beef with spices (salt, minced onions, maggi cubes) and water till fully cooked. Took about 20 mins for a partially defrosted minced meat.
Wash rice. I added 2 cups of rice to each colander and washed them.
This is the cooked minced meat
Pour the cooked meat into to colander to drain the meat broth.
Add spices to pots. In one pot, add pilau biryani spices, olive oil, crayfish. The other pot will have olive oil, tomatoes puree, crayfish.
Add rinsed rice and fry briefly
Add 2x water. Since 2 cups of rice was used, 4 cups of water was added to the pot
Set the stove at highest setting to bring rice mix to a quick boil. Then reduce heat setting to low/medium to complete the cooking.
Add meat, carrots and peas to the pot with pilau spices. Add meat to the pot with tomatoes puree.
With the pot at low/medium heat, mix all content of the pot
